To do my job, I need to know who you are. I collect your name, email, and medical information (the stuff we talk about). I also know your rough location when you use this website.
I never sell or rent your information to other companies. Your secrets are yours not mine, and it is not allowed.
The Montreal Vault
All your Medical Information is stored on servers in Montreal, Canada. It is "Encrypted" (scrambled) so nobody can read it but me. Try it with any word below:
There are specific times I must share information to keep people safe. I have to tell someone if:
- A child is hurt or is in danger.
- I have a worry you (or someone you know) being hurt.
- You have an illness that the government tracks (these are called "reportable illnesses").
While your medical notes stay in Canada, sometimes we use video or email tools that might move information around in other countries. This means there is a small chance foreign governments could see that information.
The "Cloud" RuleYou can ask to see what I've written about you. If you think I made a mistake, we can't "delete" the past, but we can add a "sticky note" to say "Actually, it happened like this..."
